Bringing Bailey into our lives has been a true joy. Senior schnauzers make the best nap buddies!

Love my senior rescue!

Exactly my thoughts! It’s a great thing to have a heart so full of love that you can share it with these seniors. A dog lives in the moment and if you can make the last moments incredible, the past can be just that ... the past ! πŸ’•πŸ’•

ADOPTED!!

Are you looking for a sweet boy like me? If you are, fill out an adoption application! Go to www.ahsr.ngo because they told me that's the only way for people to adopt from this rescue.

Hi my name is Bojax and I'm a schneagle! What's a schneagle you ask? Well, I'm a schnauzer beagle mix! I'm almost 7 months old now; housebroke, good with dogs, cats, and children! I'm neutered (boy that was not fun), microchipped, up to date on all vaccines and looking for my forever family.

My story is that I lived outside, tied to a stake in the ground. I was so young that I didn't understand that I was supposed to only go potty outside, so I went potty in the house and the people didn't like that. They decided I needed to live outside, and I did, all last winter. The bright spot in my life were the 2 little boys that lived there and came outside to play with me. I really like kids. But even then I was on a cord about 6' long. Luckily, a neighbor saw that I needed a better life so she talked to the owner and they agreed to let me go to this nice rescue group. I've been hanging out with my foster family and learning about living inside a house and how to be a good boy. I guess I did really well because the nice foster people tell me I'm such a good boy and that I'm ready for my new family. Are you looking for me?

We received another update from Gator and Gia's parents!!

Gator and Gia finally met Obi (their daughter's schnauzer). They are getting along well, but Gia is staying clear of their male play! These 2 precious pups are doing so well and are loved so much.

These little cuties went to their new home on July 19th and they're doing great! These two little brownie bites are named Gator (from FL) and Gia. They've had a wonderful life up until now and have always been cared for. Their mom called and asked for help, so we found a perfect new family for them. Welcome to the Almost Home Schnauzer Rescue family Dan and Julie. Enjoy your sweet little ones! ...

Congratulations to Gator and Gia for striking the dog lottery. Have a great new life, you two!

I'm still rooting for Gator to get a dog mullet. It seems so fitting πŸ˜‚ They're both great dogs, so loving and sweet. Congratulations!
