Kobie is a handsome little guy weighing just 12 pounds, with a sweet brown face and a beautiful white coat that make him truly stand out. He is full of energy, loves being with his people, and has never met a stranger. This sweet boy is potty trained, walks well on a leash, and loves everyone he meets. Because he can be a little too energetic for younger children, he will need a home with older, respectful kids who can keep up with his playful spirit. He also gets along well with cats and other dogs, making him a wonderful fit for the right home.
Kobie is neutered, up to date on all of his vaccines, and has had his heartworm test completed. He's healthy, happy, and ready to find the forever family he's been waiting for.

What a handsome little man. We live in Indiana. We would be extremely interested in adopting from your rescue. We have an older dog who will be seven in December that we rescued from the Greenwood area. We do both currently work full-time day jobs; however, we will be retiring mid-spring next year and would love to work with this rescue for a future adoption.

As much as I hate do this I am needing to rehome our 8 month old mini schnauzer Kobie. He needs to be in a home with no little kids, I have my grandkids quit a bit and he just cannot tolerate them. They have never even been able to get close enough to him for him to even try to like them. We have had him since 12 weeks old and have tried and tried to work with him around the kids and just not happening he is scared to death of them. He would do best with a senior type couple or single person with no little kids coming in and out. He is very unsure of people he doesn’t know so it takes a bit for him to warm up, when we first got him it took about a week to get to that lovey point. We do have another dog a bigger doodle and he does great with her, he loves to play. Pros- He is a sweet heart once he gets to know you. He would also do good with another dog in the home he loves to play. He does fine with cats but our cat doesn’t like him. Up to date on all shots and is neutered. Small so super easy to take care of. Potty trained and kennel trained He does know sit and lay Food motivated to learn new tricks Great little guard dog. Cons- Does not like little kids or groups of people. Or new people coming into his home very protective. Takes a while to warm up to you. There may be a small re homing fee to ensure he is going to a loving home.

Zimmer is the sweetest little boy. He came to rescue as an owner surrender and he hasn't had an easy life. He is easily startled but is getting better. He is very loving to his chosen person and will bark at anyone in the house as he feels he's protecting them. He gets along with other dogs, but will do best as an only dog. He is excited when his human comes home, but he doesn't follow you around. He's very uneasy on hard surface flooring, but does well on carpet. He will freeze on hardwood or tile, but does fine on the wooden deck outside...what can I say, he's a little mystery just waiting for someone to invest the time and attention he desperately needs. Poor Zimmer's owner passed away and his spouse kept him for several years, but those weren't great for him. He wasn't loved and nurtured when he needed it most, but he's making progress. I keep belly wraps on him and he does just fine. I have several dogs of my own and I feel like if he had someone's full attention, he will get the hang of potty training because he's so smart. He sleeps in bed with us and our dogs and loves cuddling on the couch. He's a precious little boy that just needs some extra love and patience. If you feel that Zimmer is the little boy for you, he will bring you lots of laughter and joy. He is a sweet dog and will make a loving pet.
